Result for the Nursing Board Exam last November 2009

Hey... just a want to give you quick news. The Nursing Board Exam last November 2009 was released by The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and 37,527 out of 94,462 passed the exam. That's a 39.72% passing rate, which looks bad for our cream of the crop when it comes to the profession of Nursing.

There were 16 examinees sixteen (16) examinees were not released and are under investigation is they violated the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.

Oathtaking will be on March 8 and 9, 2010, that will have morning (8:00 am) and afternoon (1:00 pm) session to accommodate all board passers. The ceremony will take place at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City.

Happy New Year!!!!

Ok... this will be my last post for 2009. No New Year's resolution for me, since I never get to follow my new year's resolution. So I'll just get a screen shot of my New Year post on my "Love Thoughts Love Lines..." What is important is that we have a good outlook this coming 2010 and all of us are healthy and welcome to the new challenges that will come this year of the tiger!!!!

Still alive and kicking!

Wow.. it's been one hell of a month.. tons and tons of work... transition of positions and still looking forward for a great new year!

Perhaps, one of the best thing that ever happened this year is that I get to spend my holidays with my family, since our office is close from Dec 24 to Jan 1. and work will resume on Jan 4. So this will be the first time in almost 10 years that I can spend my holiday without worrying about work. Imagine working on a graveyard shift on Christmas and New Year's eve! :) Bummer right?! heheheh... I was like that for 5 or so years then I got smart... so I either find someone who is willing to have a swap schedule, file a Vacation leave or just call in sick.. hehehe.. then our HR got smart and slap each employee who called in sick for a verbal warning and disciplinary action.. but I got smart as well.. every time I report to work.. I slap my med cert to them... hehehe... two can play that game!

That's all in the past now! whew!!!

So for all the people who are working in call centers, needs to work during the holidays.. please remember the first bottle of beer that I'll be drinking this new year's eve will be for you!!! :)

Valentine's Day

Christmas and Valentine's day are the only two date in the calendar that are synonymous to the word "Love" and "Giving". They also make a good title of Movies. :)

Anyhow.. here's a movie with an all star cast. You got Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Garner, Ashton Kutcher, Patrick Dempsey, Jamie Foxx, Queen Latifah and Taylor Swift are just some of the stars that you will see on this movie. Of course just like what the title says, it's about the lives of people on Valentine's day.
