How to use an image as your Font ForeGround (Fill) using MS Paint
Talk about all PacMan. I'm just riding the popularity of PacMan. Blog traffic-wise. ;) Anyhoo.. enough of the boxing stuff. Let's go back to our normal programming. ;)
Ok, here's one tutorial that I'm sure you will like. Let's say, you want the photo below as the fill or texture of your text, instead of just using the same old (boring) colors.

For this tutorial, we will be using the very first photo/graphics editing software that I used. We'll use the ever so present MS Paint. Since this program is install on almost all version of Windows, You can open this by press on the Windows button and letter R, then type the word "MSPAINT" or click on START > ALL PROGRAMS > ACCESSORIES > PAINT.
For this tutorial, we will be using 2 instance of MS Paint, and use the image above as our foreground image.
1. You can open two instance of MS Paint. On one program, open the image that you want to use as the ForeGround this my case the "beach.jpg".

and on the second program you will need to open a new blank canvas.

2. On the blank canvas click on the FILL WITH COLOR Tool
then select the any color, that you prefer, just to diffrenciate the white fonts that we will be using the gray that you can see on the right side of WHITE.

3. Now on that same MS Paint, using the Text Tool
, use the color WHITE, then click anywhere on the canvas. The Text toolbar will then appear. You can select any Fonts and Size that you prefer and type the text that you want.
For me, here are the settings that I used:
Fonts: PUMP Demi Bold LET
Size: 90
Text: "I Love Online"

If the text area is small for your text, you can enlarge the text area by using dragging the nodes of the text box.

NOTE: If you do not have the TEXT TOOLBAR open, right click on any section of the text box
on the canvas then select TEXT TOOLBAR.

4. Once done typing click on any area of the canvas, then use the Select tool
and select the text that you typed and make sure that the space on all 4 sides are even, then select the Transparent Background tool
, then press on the keyboard the CTRL + C (copy) the selected section or click on EDIT > COPY.

5. After copying the selected section to your clipboard, open the MS Paint where you opened the "beach.jpg"then Paste the copied image by pressing CTRL + V or click on EDIT > PASTE.

6. The copied image will then be pasted on the upper left corner of the second MS PAINT, then immediately move the pasted image to the section that you want to serve as your ForeGround, make sure that the Transparent Background tool
is selected as well. Once you are done, click on any section of the image to deselect the pasted image.

7. After deselecting the fonts, you will see that the white foreground will act as if it was a transparent background inheriting the beach image as its ForeGround fill. Once done, change the gray color to white by using the FILL WITH COLOR Tool
.

8. Now go back to the untitled MS Paint, where you still have the original text selected. Using the FILL WITH COLOR Tool
again, change the white color to black. and the gray background to white. Your text should look like this or similar to the one that I have below:

9. Following the same process on step 4, copy the text and paste it on the MS Paint where "beach.jpg" where you pasted the first text. This time move the second text to an area that will not affect the first text that you pasted.

10. Now click on the Transparent Background tool
, then using the Select tool
select the first text with the white background and move it adjacent to the text with black color. Creating a drop shadow effect. You can select the degree and angle of the shadow by moving it farther and slightly aligned or misaligned to the black text.

11. Or you can just change the text on the MS PAINT with the untitled image to black and keep the gray background. Then paste the it on the Beach.jpg, To keep the gray background.

Then just repeat the step on step 10. You should have an image similar to the one below:

12. Then just clean out the unnecessary image or crop the image, so that you will only have the text and the effects that you created. I have created different variations of the text below and all you need to do is to just play around with the colors and the way you arrange the text to get that unexpected results. ;)

Pacquiao - Cotto Live!
Yeah... this is a live streaming... and not just a cheat youtube streaming or some other streaming by someone who is using a web cam to broadcast a fight from his t.v.
If you just sign up for the PLDT Watchpad, then you can watch the Pacquiao - Cotto Mega Fight. Good thing I signed up before Nov. 7, if not then I won't have a chance to watch the fight live.
If you want to know more about the PLDT Watchpad, you can visit The Teknisyan's Blog: PLDT WATCH PAD
Hey... gtg and will go watch the fight now!
